  I find shopping at John Lewis a good experience generally. The staff are always clued up on the products and very helpful. It makes a real change from part timers on high street stores.
  
  I usually come away from JL feeling that i have been treated like a valued customer and I have peace of mind that I can reurn the goods if there's a problem or if I find them cheaper elsewhere

  On 18 August I went into my local John Lewis store to purchase a Bosch SMV50C00GB Integrated Dishwasher. I was told that they did not stock it at the branch and that I should order it on their website. I went home and did exactly that. On 21 August I received an email from them - "For your protection, all orders taken on our website are security checked to authenticate the information and the details provided. Unfortunately, the details you provided have failed our checks and we're unable to complete..
