  I bought a Siemens dishwasher online because John Lewis offered a free five year guarantee. The dishwasher cost £435.I had to go online to John Lewis after purchase to register. This sent me to the Siemens website which was useless and would not accept the registration. I contacted Siemens on five occasions over the next six weeks to chase up my guarantee. Each time I was told it would be sent,by post and email, but I never received it. I emailed John Lewis and told them what happened and that I was getting nowhere with the guarantee registration. As John Lewis offered the guarantee on their website at time of purchase, I asked them for help. I received a short email back saying that it was nothing to do with them. I thought at least they would have contacted Siemens on my behalf. I was very surprised and will not be using the so-called trusted John Lewis name again. Nearly two months on and I have no guarantee. Siemens customer service is rubbish too

  Ordered a dinning table and chair. Given a delivery date on the Tuesday 0700-1400. No one turned up. No one called. Called up at 1405. "Oh sorry your order didn't go through from the internet to the delivery people." "Can I have it delivered on Saturday as I look a day off work?" "No as this does not count as failed delivery as the order did not go round to the delivery people. I have noticed this has been happening recently.
