  Ordered a Christmas present on the 16th and never received a dispatch email, however was given a tracking number in

  Washing Machine
  did not turn up on named date. Had taken day off work to recieve it
  Driver rang at 8 in evening to say it wouldn't be delivered. I said that was not acceptable. He then said would deliver....and didn't.
  Customer services
  then said would not deliver for another week...i said would cancel order
  so they then said it would come special courier that day....still waiting
  This has happened not just this once but twice...with previous washing machine bought from John Lewis exactly same thing happened. Will never buy anything like this from John Lewis again
